Every December, thousands of people from across Türkiye and around the world gather at the Mevlana Museum in the Turkish city of Konya. They come to mark Sheb-i Arus, the anniversary of the death of the 13th-century Sufi poet and philosopher Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, on a night he said wasn’t an end, but a ‘wedding’.
