A leading dog rescue charity is warning they will be operating at max capacity this Christmas.
The Dogs Trust say the number of enquiries from owners about giving up their dog remains high and are expecting 40,000 by the end of this year.
Sky News visits one of their centres, where staff are determined the animals won’t miss out on the festive spirit.
