Following the deadly February 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Hatay, one of the worst-hit provinces, where more than 154,000 homes and workplaces have been rebuilt. The disaster killed 53,000 people, affected 14 million and caused more than 150 billion dollars in damage, according to officials. Survivors say the trauma remains, even as reconstruction continues. Hasan Abdullah reports from Hatay, Türkiye.
