As part of a nationwide reconstruction effort across 11 provinces, Türkiye has begun handing over tens of thousands of newly built homes to survivors of the February 6 earthquakes in Hatay, after the disaster of the century struck the historic city.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the key handover ceremony that 105,179 homes, village houses, and workplaces have been handed over to earthquake-affected citizens.
