Voting has begun in Myanmar’s first general election in five years.
The country’s ruling military junta seized power in February 2021, deposing Aung San Suu Kyi, the last democratically elected leader, and triggering civil war.
Reporters, including Sky’s Shingi Mararike have been granted rare access to parts of Myanmar as people go to the polls, but human rights campaigners have condemned the ballot.
