The controversial X chatbot Grok has come under renewed scrutiny over its use of generative AI to create images that digitally remove clothing from young women and girls, as well as some men. French government ministers have reported the material to prosecutors and to the media regulator ARCOM, which will assess whether the content breaches the European Union’s Digital Services Act, as journalists from France 2 and Simon Mortiz investigate the issue further.
