Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro held his last known diplomatic meeting with a Chinese delegation in Caracas, local media reported, around 12 hours before attacks targeted the capital.
President Donald Trump later said US forces had ‘captured’ him. The meeting addressed co-operation between Venezuela and China.
