Thick plumes of smoke rose over the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Hatta, following Israeli airstrikes. The IDF said the strikes hit weapons storage shafts at several Hezbollah military sites in southern Lebanon, adding that recent Hezbollah activity there violated understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
