US President Donald Trump is warning Cuba that it could be next in Washington’s crosshairs. As he claims to be ‘running’ Venezuela and controlling its oil after the ouster of President Nicolas Maduro, Trump is now seemingly intent on severing ties between Havana and Caracas.
In a post on his platform Truth Social, he wrote: "Venezuela now has the United States to protect them", "there will be no more oil or money going to Cuba — zero". – he continued: I strongly suggest they make a deal before it is too late".
