Denmark is deploying soldiers to Greenland, to be joined by troops from Germany and other European countries. This comes after the foreign ministers of Greenland and Denmark held inconclusive talks in Washington with US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. President Trump has repeatedly called for a US takeover of the autonomous Danish island.
