Iran’s exiled crown prince has told Sky News he wants to "turn power back" to Iranians if he can return to the country.
Speaking at a news conference in Washington, Reza Pahlavi told James Matthews Iranians "trust me", despite being the son of the deposed Shah.
Several days of anti-regime protests have left at least 2,000 people dead in Iran.
Mr Pahlavi says he can lead an alternative, democratic government in Iran, despite having not lived in the country for several decades.
