Russia is facing its most severe winter in 30 years. Heavy snow continues to disrupt daily life on the Kamchatka Peninsula, with roads closed, public transport suspended and schools shut.
An emergency remains in place in the regional capital, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, after two deaths were reported, while officials say snow depth has reached up to 1.5 metres.
