US President Donald Trump’s threats to take Greenland and impose tariffs on those who oppose him has hung heavily over the World Economic Forum in Davos. French President Emmanuel Macron has warned of a shift towards a ‘world without rules’ and ‘imperial ambitions’, while Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney suggested the global rules-based order is now a thing of the past.
