LeBron James’ latest trip to Cleveland was a slam dunk. The Los Angeles Lakers player found himself wiping away tears in what could possibly be his last NBA game in Cleveland, the city where he spent 11 seasons playing with the Cavaliers. During the Jan. 28 matchup between the Lakers and the Cavaliers, the home team honored the 41-year-old with a tribute video highlighting his time in Cleveland. Lebron appeared visibly emotional after the video, as he made his way back onto the court to complete the game—with the Cavaliers ultimately beating the Lakers 129-99. Still, the basketball legend didn’t say for sure if he would be hanging up his jersey when this season comes to an end. "I’m just trying to take everything in, not take the moments for granted,” he told reporters after the game, according to ESPN. "Because it could be [my last season]. I obviously haven’t made a decision on the future, but it very well could be." As for the emotions he felt during the highlight reel, as the 23-year NBA veteran noted, “I was just more present today than I’ve been [in past trips to Cleveland]… [It] definitely got to me a little bit, for sure."
