In Kenya, the Ministry of Health has announced that the equivalent of 71 million euros has been stolen, misdirected or fraudulently clamed by hospitals and other healthcare facilites manipulated a new social security system. It had been meant to modernise the old system in a way that meant all Kenyans could access better health insurance but it apparently hasn’t worked out that way.
