The UK Food Standards Agency has told Sky News that a toxin that can cause vomiting and diarrhoea has been detected in batches of baby formula produced by food and drink giant, Nestle.
The FSA, along with the UK Health Security Agency, has been investigating since a recall of more than 60 batches of Nestle SMA formula earlier this month.
At the time of the recall, Nestle said it was due to the "potential presence" of the heat-resistant toxin, cereulide, and that the recall was out of an "abundance of caution".
