Sir Trevor Phillips began his weekly flagship politics show with a monologue criticising his "friend" Peter Mandelson for his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Files released on Friday appeared to show Epstein had paid a total of $75,000 into Lord Mandelson’s account in 2003 and 2004, when the former UK ambassador to the US was a government minister.
Lord Mandelson says he does not remember receiving the payments and denies any wrongdoing.
