The son of a terminally ill woman, who used her dying days to support of the assisted dying bill, has described how she was denied her dignity and humanity at the end of her life.
Ed Rumley died in December, six weeks after sitting down with Sky News to voice her support for the bill. The legislation is currently being scrutinised in the House of Lords with supporters claiming opponents are trying to scupper it.
Stephen Rumley says his mother, a former magistrate, was denied the justice she spent her life fighting for.
