Neve Campbell is standing by her actions. The ‘Scream’ star doubled down on her decision to walk away from the franchise’s sixth film in 2023 over a salary disagreement, admitting that she was upset to miss out but did not regret her choice. "When I made that decision, I just didn’t think I could live with myself walking on set. I just didn’t feel right,” Neve shared during an interview on CBS Mornings on Feb. 24. “I just knew that my value to this franchise was bigger than what had been offered. For me, I needed to make that choice." Though she felt the decision was necessary, the 52-year-old knew she may never play Sidney Prescott again—and she “had to be” OK with that potential outcome. "When I said goodbye to it, I thought that was it. I knew that there was a good chance that would be it,” she said. “I was sad. When I knew they were having their first day of shooting and I wasn’t there, I was like, ‘That sucks.’ But at the same time I knew that my decision was right.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1428932/screams-neve-campbell-defends-6th-film-exit-over-salary-dispute
