For most children, the hardest part of school is homework. For others, it’s starting over in a new country, learning a new language, and carrying memories no child should have to bear.
UNICEF says millions of Ukrainian children remain displaced abroad, their education disrupted and their futures uncertain.
In one corner of the UK, a group of Ukrainian children are trying to hold on to who they are while building a life far from the war that changed everything. TRT World’s Paul Hawkins reports.
