Ahead of ‘Marty Supreme’s’ Odessa A’Zion heading into the Actor Awards 2026, where she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress, she explained one role she’d never accept. “I don’t think I’m good at playing a girl next door type,” Odessa exclusively told Justin Sylvester during ‘Live from E!: Actor Awards 2026’ March 1. “I think it would be bad. It would be me being like, ‘Hey,’ I can’t even. It would be so bad.” One role that was certainly not bad, though, was Odessa’s performance opposite Timothée Chalamet in the Josh Safdie film, which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a film alongside Weapons’ Amy Madigan, One Battle After Another’s Teyana Taylor, Wicked: For Good’s Ariana Grande and Sinners’ Wunmi Mosaku.
