“We have no intention of aggression against neighbouring countries… They are our brothers”
On March 7, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a personal apology to neighbouring countries affected by Tehran’s retaliatory strikes, following the coordinated US and Israeli attacks on February 28.
Pezeshkian announced that Iran’s temporary leadership council has approved a suspension of attacks against regional neighbours, provided no further strikes on Iran originate from their territories.
While calling for regional unity against "imperialism," Pezeshkian warned that Iran remains prepared for war to defend its territorial integrity.
