The ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ alum accidentally cut her face while testing out a new beauty product, leaving bloodied gashes on her cheeks. “This happened mid video,” Bethenny wrote on Instagram March 13 alongside a graphic video of the injury. “I am fine. I’m just shook. No one said the lord’s work would be easy.” In another video capturing the moment, the 55-year-old told viewers how excited she was about the product since it was advertised to contour the face and also helped her jaw pain. But her excitement quickly took a turn when she noticed blood streaming down her face. In a follow-up Instagram Story, the Bethenny thanked her fans for their concern, writing, “I am going through something personal that makes shredding my face look pleasant.” While Bethenny—who shares daughter Bryn, 15, with ex-husband Jason Hoppy—didn’t detail what she was going through, she has been candid about her chronic kidney disease diagnosis, recently sharing that it had progressed to stage three.
