A large explosion at an oil refinery on the Texas Gulf Coast on March 24 caused a massive fire that sent plumes of smoke into the air and forced nearby residents to shelter in place. The explosion was allegedly caused by an industrial heater malfunction. There have been no injuries or deaths reported.
