Mourners in southern Lebanon attended on Wednesday the funeral of two paramedics who were killed the previous day in an Israeli strike.
An Israeli strike killed Ali Jaber and Joud Sleiman on Tuesday (March 24) in the southern town of Nabatieh as the two were heading on a rescue mission.
Both were wearing paramedic uniforms and were travelling on a motorcycle with ambulance markings and flashing ambulance lights.
Lebanon’s health ministry says at least 42 paramedics have been killed by Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2.
