Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) has converted his lower Manhattan district office at 290 Broadway into a "triage center" for families of those detained by ICE agents in the same building and across the street at 26 Federal Plaza. The office serves as a legal and humanitarian waypoint, providing "wraparound services" for traumatized families while volunteer lawyers launch immediate petitions for judicial intervention.
