More than 50 years after Laura Ann Aime’s body was found near a Utah highway, DNA testing confirmed infamous serial killer Ted Bundy was responsible for the teen’s previously unsolved murder. According to the Sheriff’s Office, semen that had been swabbed from Laura’s body following her 1974 death was recently DNA tested and came up as a match for Ted’s DNA in a Florida database. In a news conference Apr. 1st, Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Reynolds said, "Laura Aime is the quintessential daughter of Utah County. We’ve had the desire to deliver to you some type of healing, we can’t really say closure."
