Lebanon’s Prime Minister is calling on the country’s allies for support, as the capital, Beirut, witnesses its heaviest Israeli bombardment since the war against Hezbollah began. Lebanese civil defence officials say at least 254 people have been killed across the country on Wednesday. Israel says Lebanon is not covered by the ceasefire deal with Iran.
