In occupied East Jerusalem, hundreds of far-right Israelis held a flag march marking the city’s occupation in 1967. The march came just a day before the anniversary of the Nakba, the mass displacement of Palestinians from their land. Ultra-nationalist Israelis marched through the streets chanting racist slogans as they rallied towards the Al-Aqsa compound under heavy security.
