We will explore how God’s eternal city permanently merges His two peoples without erasing either. You will see how the city features 12 gates named after the 12 Jewish Apostles (representing the Church) and 12 foundations named after the 12 tribes of Israel (representing the Old Testament saints).
3. A Seat at the Heavenly Banquet–Matthew 8
Summary of Coverage: Jesus gave an incredible promise to a Gentile Roman centurion who demonstrated great faith. Jesus revealed that Gentile believers from the east and west will one day arrive in heaven to sit down at a magnificent eternal feast. And who will they be sitting next to? The great Jewish patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! Far from being excluded, these patriarchs are already at the table, proving we share a rich and amazing Jewish heritage.
