AI slop has completely taken over the internet — fake Karen meltdowns, fake pet videos, fake podcasts, and now an entire wave of fake "handmade" product scams designed to emotionally manipulate viewers into buying lamps that were almost certainly made in a factory overseas. The latest grift features a fake account of a guy with Down syndrome who gets egged by bullies while selling his Godzilla lamps, complete with a comment section full of bots. And it’s not just scam ads — AI Instagram models are racking up hundreds of thousands of followers, including a fake MAGA influencer traced back to a guy in India, and a fake Siamese twins bikini account with 400K followers. Even the Department of Education got caught posting an AI-generated plumbing image so riddled with errors it looks like something out of a fever dream.
