Thousands of demonstrators marched through the Belgian capital Brussels, protesting global conflicts and increasing military expenditure.
The rally, which drew around 5,000 people, began at Brussels North Train Station and ended at Jean Rey Square near key European Union and NATO institutions.
Protesters carried placards reading “No to war,” “Welfare, not war,” and “Healthcare, not weapons,” calling on governments to redirect defence spending toward social services and healthcare.
