I’ll share my personal habit of reading the entire book of Ephesians to get the big picture of how our spiritual fight impacts every practical dimension of our lives—including our marriages, our families, and our work. We will learn how to systematically study God’s Word by writing a unique title, summarizing the passage in one sentence, outlining key lessons in our own words, and drafting a personal application prayer asking the Lord to unleash these truths directly into our lives.
2. Unmasking the Ambush: Facing the Demonic Terrorists of the Unseen Realm

Summary of What’s Covered: Next, we will confront the sobering reality of the invisible war raging around us. Every morning we wake up and step out into life, we face an active ambush by unseen demonic forces. Utilizing the powerful translation of J.B. Phillips, we will examine how our fight is not against physical enemies, but against highly organized spiritual "terrorists" operating directly from the headquarters of evil. We will learn why we must find our strength not in ourselves, but in the power of the Lord’s boundless resource.
3. The Ultimate Defense: Quenching Fiery Missiles with the Shield of Faith

Summary of What’s Covered: Finally, we will unpack God’s flawless defense system: the complete armor of God. We will explore the vital spiritual significance of each piece of armor we must wear—the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace on our feet, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Most importantly, we will focus on what it means to take up the shield of faith above all else, which serves as our only defense to successfully quench and extinguish every single burning missile the enemy hurls our way.
