Protesters in Albania vandalized the construction site of a former luxury development in a coastal area in the south of the country on June 21st, smashing windows and toppling containers. Protests opposing a luxury resort development planned by U.S. President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner have been sweeping the country for weeks. The development site that was targeted on Sunday is not linked to the Kushner-backed resort, but frustration over similar projects has triggered localized protests and scuffles.
