Three people, including a police officer, a civilian and the suspected gunman, were killed in a shooting in a Jewish neighborhood of Montreal. Police Chief Fady Dagher said officers responded after a 911 call reporting shots fired from a building, and a gunfight broke out when they arrived. The suspect, who was also killed, was armed with what police described as a long-range weapon. Authorities have not determined a motive and said it is too early to say whether the attack was criminal or terror-related.
