A cargo vessel was hit by an Iranian drone strike in the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday, a US official told CNN, resulting in the International Maritime Organization (IMO) temporarily pausing its evacuation operation in and around the strait.
The US official did not provide further details of the strike. Iran has not claimed responsibility.
