The Gold Mountain Fire prompted a disaster emergency declaration and multiple evacuations in Colorado, on June 27.
Colorado Gov Jared Polis declared a disaster emergency on June 28 in response to the fire.
As of June 29, the wildfire had scorched 4,276 acres and was zero percent contained, forcing multiple surrounding areas to evacuate, local media reported.
