The Houthi Media Center released footage showing an Iranian aircraft landing at Al Hudaida Airport in western Yemen after Yemeni forces struck the runway at Houthi-controlled Sanaa International Airport, preventing the plane from landing there.
Yemen’s Defense Ministry said it targeted the runway after the Houthis blocked Yemeni flights while allowing the Iranian aircraft to land, calling the move a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree condemned the strike, warning that it "will not pass without retaliation and punishment."
