Qatar’s air defence systems intercepted Iranian missiles over Doha and other parts of the country on July 17. Explosions were heard across the capital as the missiles were shot down. Authorities issued a nationwide emergency alert, urging residents to stay indoors and away from windows. The strikes came after current US attacks against Iran.
