The FIFA World Cup made history with its first-ever halftime show, delivering a star-studded spectacle featuring Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber and Shakira at MetLife Stadium on July 19. Madonna kicked off the inaugural performance with her hit "Music" after making a grand entrance alongside Brazilian soccer legends Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. Conductor Gustavo Dudamel and his orchestra, joined by the Muppets for a whimsical musical moment. BTS energized the crowd with a performance of their global hit "Dynamite" before ‘Ted Lasso’ stars Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt introduced Justin Bieber.
