‘In the City’ couple Kenny Martin and Whitney Fransway sit down with ET’s Brice Sander to unpack season 1 of the ‘Summer House’ spinoff and its forthcoming reunion, airing Tuesdays on Bravo and streaming on Peacock. The pair reflect on their roller-coaster journey, between a game of telephone over the word ‘spark’ and many battles with co-star Lindsay Hubbard. Whitney stands by her ‘single mom card’ comment, while Kenny expanding on his claim that the former PR pro ‘collects apologies like [she] collects souls.’ They also weigh in on Amanda Batula’s future on the series, following her exit from ‘Summer House’ alongside castmate West Wilson, after the two began a secret romance that rocked the Bravo-sphere. Kenny, a longtime friend of Amanda’s ex, Kyle Cooke, confirms he turned down the OG show, and off-shoot ‘Winter House,’ before ultimately signing on for ‘In the City.’ He suspects his journey to reconnect with his dad, whom he lost touch with decades earlier, played into him landing a spot on the cast — and responds to a man claiming to be his half-brother, who suggested Kenny’s emotional family reunion with their dad was an exercise in clout-chasing.
