    Indian police carried opposition leader Rahul Gandhi away from a sit‑in outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence, a day after more than 180 people were injured in clashes between student protesters and security forces. Gandhi was demanding accountability for the violent crackdown and supporting students involved in the “cockroach” protest movement. Demonstrators are demanding reforms to the education system and the resignation of India’s education minister.
