Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders raided the occupied West Bank town of Sebastia alongside illegal Israeli settler leader Yossi Dagan, days after the Dutch government banned imports from illegal Israeli settlements. During the raid, Wilders expressed support for illegal Israeli settlements and said they contribute to Europe’s security. The group also raided the UNESCO World Heritage site in Sebastia which drew criticism from Palestinian officials and rights groups over Israel’s ongoing illegal settlement expansion in the area.
