Are you taking for granted the basic constants of your daily life—the comfort of a morning sunrise or the solid ground beneath your feet? In our busy, comfortable lives, it is easy to block out the most serious realities of eternity.
In this deeply sobering class, you will experience a profound spiritual transformation by confronting the stark physical and emotional realities of the afterlife. John Barnett unpacks how hell is characterized by the terrifying, permanent absence of two physical properties we rely on for stability: light and a fixed surface.
Your transformation begins when you step out of casual complacency. This study pulls back the veil on the "bottomless pit," describing a state of suspended, smothering darkness where the human capacity for pain is enlarged, and every desperate search for a solid rock or a wall yields only empty space. Barnett reveals a striking truth: everyone in hell is a believer now, desperately crying out to the Savior when it is tragically too late. Realizing that 10,000 centuries of time in this dark abyss will not bring a soul a single second closer to escape completely shatters worldly apathy.
Confronting this heavy truth does not lead to despair; instead, it ignites a triumphant, active hope for today. It drives you to cherish the true Solid Rock, Jesus Christ, who bore the wrath we deserved. It transforms you into a bold, compassionate messenger of the Gospel, urging your neighbors, friends, and family to find refuge in Him before their personal calendar runs out.
Take this class today to break free from spiritual drift, realign your life with eternity, and anchor your soul in the rescue of Christ.
