An Israeli air strike destroyed Al-Muttaqin Mosque and tents sheltering displaced Palestinian families in central Gaza City, leaving hundreds without shelter. The strike, near the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA), levelled the mosque, destroyed makeshift shelters and damaged nearby homes and civilian property. The tents had been housing families whose homes were previously destroyed in the war.
