Africa is home to the world’s youngest population, and a new African Youth Survey shows that while many remain optimistic about the continent’s future, they also want good governance and decent jobs. In Kenya, where youth unemployment is at around 67%, many young people are turning to vocational training to boost their chances of finding work. And in Ghana, climate change and overfishing are taking a toll on fish stocks—but the government has now launched its first initiative to protect aquatic life and the livelihoods of coastal communities.
