Two firefighting helicopters collided midair over the Psatha area in Attica, Greece, killing two crew members during wildfire response operations. Television footage showed one helicopter explode and plunge to the ground in flames after an apparent rotor collision. The two surviving crew members were rescued and transported to hospital as firefighting efforts continued across the country.
