An Alaska fishing guide captured a close encounter with a grizzly bear that approached his boat while searching for salmon. Video filmed by Carter Brown in Soldotna shows the bear finding a salmon and eating it just feet from the boat as stunned fishing charter guests looked on. Brown said bear encounters are common in the area, where wildlife and people regularly share the same waters.
