Although Ukrainian innovation, particularly in drone warfare, has complicated Russia’s military superiority, Zalmayev contends that technological ingenuity cannot permanently compensate for disparities in manpower, industrial capacity, and external military support. He argues that the conflict has entered an "escalatory spiral of attrition."
