Arie Luyendyk Jr. is giving vasectomies another go. The Bachelor Nation star underwent his second procedure two years after reversing the first one to have another child with his wife Lauren Burnham, with whom he shares daughter Alessi, 7, twins Senna and Lux, both 5, and 10-month-old baby girl Livvy. Luyendyk posted an Instagram Story Aug. 14, explaining that this time, he would be getting his vasectomy without his wife in the room, describing her being there for the first operation as “weird.” The former race car driver previously explained in a 2021 interview that he came to the decision to get his first vasectomy after a stressful vacation shortly after his twins were born—however, in a 2025 YouTube video, he revealed that, over time, he ended up feeling like he “rushed it,” leading him to reverse the original procedure. Arie and Lauren met during his season as The Bachelor, which aired in 2018. The couple welcomed their fourth child last year.
